Welcome to the DOL API Sampler

The API Sampler application is used to list all DOL Datasets available to the public at developer.dol.gov site. This application also shows you all the dataset tables in each dataset and the actual data in each dataset tables. The actual result limits up to 100 records.

In order to use this application, please select the dataset you want to see from the drop down list and click View Tables button. That gives you all the tables in that dataset. From the tables drop down list, select a particular table you want to see and click on Display Table button. That will give you the top 100 records on that particular table.

     

     

DOL Mine Inspections Dataset
  • DataSet Name: DOL Mine Inspections Dataset
  • DataSet Description: The Mine Inspections dataset lists every mine inspection conducted by MSHA dating back to 1/1/1978. The data includes the name of the mine inspected, MSHA's internal inspection number (event number), the type of inspection and the start and end dates of the inspection. Event Number is the unique key for this dataset. It also includes the Mine ID associated with the inspections which can be used to relate it to the Mines Data Set.
